The essence of sound.
Burkhardtsmaier is a loudspeaker manufacturer that sets new standards for authentic music playback. All sound information shall reach the ear naturally and unadulterated – the "essence of sound" is revealed. We were commissioned to create an audio logo that creatively conveys this high aspiration.
Burkhardtsmaier considers the "essence of sound" to be those nuances & details that usually remain hidden from the ear. We took up this notion for the audio logo and made it the central design idea. By making the individual overtones of a piano tone audible piece by piece, we point out those sonic details that Burkhardtsmaier loudspeakers are able to uncover.
As a demo for their presentation rooms, we also composed the Burkhardtsmaier Symphony. A dynamic composition in which the instruments of the orchestra carry the note B through all registers perfectly showcases the natural and clear sound of the speakers.
