Score with light: Motion branding for iris.
iris makes local public transport smarter. It uses high-precision sensors to record passenger flows in real time - for more efficient mobility. Our task: to develop motion branding that brings iris' technological expertise to life visually.
Above the doors of modern buses and trains, an invisible network of infrared light points detects every movement. It precisely recognizes who is getting on or off and distinguishes between passengers and luggage - without the need for a camera.
We now translate this network of light points into motion design, where it becomes a visible, living element. It forms a dynamic layout grid – a flexible framework for presenting information and data. This structure brings clarity without rigidity, subtly mirroring the agile and thoughtful way iris operates.

Schwarz und Weiß prägen das Design von iris. Wir ergänzen es nun um Farbverläufe, die vom Lichtspektrum inspiriert sind – eine Anspielung nicht nur auf die Sensorik von iris, sondern auch auf die altgriechische Herkunft des Namens: „Iris“ – der Regenbogen.
