We gave Siemens Healthineers, one of the largest providers of medical technology, an acoustic identity. In the process, a holistic world of sound was created - from the Audio Logo, to sounds in the medical technology devices, to the software with which employees can produce their own soundtracks.
Siemens Healthcare became Siemens Healthineers. The renaming and strategic realignment of the company was accompanied by an extensive rebranding process. The positioning in the premium segment for medical technology also included a new and holistic audio branding.

Siemens Healthineers is characterised by a rational and technical approach, paving the way for the technology of tomorrow. Through sophisticated synthetic instruments, we pay tribute to the company's innovative and forward-looking orientation.
In order to underline the premium character of Siemens Healthineers, we supplemented the spectrum with a selection of classical chamber music instruments, such as strings and woodwinds.
The visual design of Siemens Healthineers also inspired us to come up with a sound idea. A striking design element here is the "Dot Pulse" - a series of dots whose distances from one another increase from dot to dot. In the sound, these distances define pitches and rhythm. The result is an unusual sequence of tones that makes Siemens Healthineers' sound unmistakable.

The visual design at the heart of the acoustic image is the audio logo, which is based on the name "Healthineers." Here, every letter that has an equivalent in musical notation is represented as a sound. All other letters are assigned a digital heartbeat. This creates a tonal formula that guarantees recognizability.

Based on these design elements, we have developed a sound package for events. Specially composed music sounds before the start and during a stage performance, discreet soundscapes accompany the breaks. These are harmoniously interrupted by a gong that draws the audience's attention to a new section of the event.

MusiCurve allows employees to create their own soundtracks for video clips that still sound distinctly like Siemens Healthineers.
In addition to productions for audio touchpoints such as the telephone waiting loop and the Siemens Healthineers Experience Center, we have also considered the needs of patients. We have developed music specifically for treatment with medical devices from Siemens Healthineers. This "health-oriented music" helps patients to relax during treatment and reduces stress.
