A brand sound is now intended to underline this digital, data-driven orientation and bring the company's self-image to life.

The core task was to express the brand's vision, "We make the world more resilient", in sound. Our sonic metaphor for resilience is very simple: the constant repetition of a single note. It is the starting point and goal of all compositions and runs like a constant pulse through the music. No matter how great the changes along the way, the music always returns to this steady state. We call it the One Note principle.

Two voices, one thought.

The new claim "Partnering for progress" inspired the core melody of the brand sound: the partnership motif. It is an ascending tone sequence that always sounds in two voices. These two tone sequences work their way upwards in parallel, supporting each other and symbolising Swiss Re's partnership attitude.

Together with the music library developed especially for Swiss Re, consisting of music titles of different genres and moods, the foundation has been laid for a flexible and easy-to-use brand sound. And the numbers speak for themselves: after only 3 months, the audio branding has already been used in over 100 videos.
